What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice founded by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words Rei (universal) and Ki (life energy), and is most often translated as “universal life-force energy.”
Reiki is non-invasive and suitable for people of all ages. It is not tied to any religion or belief system, and may simply be experienced as a supportive wellness practice.
Most people experience Reiki as deeply relaxing and grounding, supporting balance within the body, mind and emotions. With deepening practice over time, some also experience greater awareness, presence, inner peace, and a deeper reconnection with themselves.

What to expect during a Reiki session?
Reiki sessions are conducted in a calm and comfortable environment.
You will remain fully clothed throughout the session and may
either lie down on a treatment bed/mat or sit comfortably on a chair.

During the session, gentle hand placements are used either lightly
on or slightly above different areas of the body. There is minimal talking, allowing you to rest quietly and relax.
Some people experience warmth, tingling sensations, emotional shifts or deep relaxation, while others may simply feel peaceful or sleepy. Every experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki.
The intention of the session is to support relaxation, balance and wellbeing in a safe and gentle space.
In Healthcare
& Research
Reiki is increasingly used as a complementary wellness practice alongside conventional healthcare in hospitals and wellness settings around the world.
According to reports referencing an American Hospital Association survey, healing touch therapies including Reiki are among the most requested complementary inpatient therapies in U.S. hospitals.
A large-scale study published on PubMed involving more than 1,400 Reiki sessions also found that “a single session of Reiki improves multiple variables related to physical and psychological health.”
Reiki is intended to support overall wellbeing and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Session
Availability
Distance Reiki is a convenient way to receive Reiki from the comfort of your own space, wherever you are in the world. Similar to in-person sessions, many people experience deep relaxation, calmness and emotional balance during or after the session.
Sessions are conducted remotely at an agreed timing based on Singapore Time, where you simply rest quietly in a comfortable space while Reiki is offered with clear intention and focus.
Both in-person and distance sessions are equally effective and charged at the same rate.
